My Gran was an extrodinary woman, not only was she my Gran she was my best friend.
Always full of life, she was the kindest and most caring person i have known.
We would go shopping together, go for meals, or just sit and talk, but i would always be happy in her company.
To her friends and family 'Peggy' was generous and trustworthy, those around her always enjoyed her company, a lady of many many friends.
During the last few months myself, my mum and dad did all we could to look after her and keep her positive even during the hardest times in those last few months there was still a sparkle in her eye.
Her son and her daughter miss her terribly, as do all the grand children and great grand child.
I miss her every single day, life without my best friend is life without the most important part of me.
Truly one in a million xxxxxxxxx
A rose once grew
where all could see,
sheltered beside
a garden wall,
And as the days passed
swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall...
One day, a beam of light
shone through
a crevice that had
opened wide ~
The rose bent gently
toward its warmth
then passed beyond
to the other side
Now, you who deeply
feel its loss,
be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~
its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by
God's own loving care.
